Thank you for this reminder.

What do you make of marriage ministries in light of this post? Family Life Today, Focus on the Family, Gary Smalley, etc. Are they focusing on the wrong thing?

What do you do if you feel called to a marriage/family ministry? How does your post work out in that?

Dr Kostenberger, I like the way your excellent article answers this question, but also, cheekily tells us it’s not the question we should be asking!

In reading what the right question is, I’ve come to the conclusion that we do have a good marriage, and thank God for this, and for my lovely wife, Joan to whom I have been married for almost 33 years.

Thanks for your recent posting. I am interested though in why you recommend adoption only if a couple is unable to have children physically. Adoption is neither a second-best option nor a back-up plan. Adoption, as Piper says, is “the Gospel made visible.” Adoption demonstrates a true commitment to family and is a demonstration how God accepts us into His family.
