since i identified the beloved disciple in 1983 my life and walk has radically changed and the 4th gospel has become my major interest. i have come to the conclusion that JESUS dictated the 4th gospel to the beloved disciple. i write essays about this book.

i am a new pastor of a small rural SBC church and i am currently preaching through the Gospel of John. i am trying to help the people understand the Bible as a whole and how the Gospel of John captures that. this book would be a tremendous help.

I am John from the Philippines. I am an MDiv. graduate and currently involved in a teaching/educational ministry of one of the mega-churches in the Manila, Philippines. I help train leaders and workers of the church and am responsible in researching and developing training materials for the church and its outreaches. I have also a current ministry in teaching the Bible in some provinces in the Philippines especially to those who do not have access in formal seminary training. I have also plans to help teach in Bible schools and seminaries here. I hope I can have a copy of this important book and resource.

I’m an MDiv student at TEDS, planning to do a pastoral-internship at my home church in Tempe, Az once done. I used the John commentary from BECNT to study and teach the fourth Gospel in a college ministry as well as in a men’s small group. A solidly evangelical-orthodox volume on John’s Gospel has been needed for quite a while, especially one this sweeping in its content. It would be a resource for teaching and preaching the gospel.

I would use this book to reap fresh insights from the Gospel and the Epistles and minster to my family. Most of my family say they believe, but lack any commitment to follow Him. I was just released from prison in March and have been praying for a way to minister to my family and friends. After I finish with the book, I will give it another Christian diligently studying the Word and desires to minister to others around them. Thank you for this opportunity to gain a valuable resource.

I teach the Bible each week to my local church as well as teaching and leading an internet study. I also work with prisoners at the Snake River Correctional Institution in Ontario, Oregon where 3000 inmates are imprisoned. One of the great values of John’s gospel is its repeated Calvinism such as in chapter 6 and 10. I am probably the only Calvinist working at the prison. In Eastern Oregon and Southwestern Idaho there are very few Calvinist. The commentary would be a great help in getting this out. Mike Howard.
